Case Studies
Case Study: Parcel2Go
Parcel2go.com is the trading name of Parcel2go Ltd, the company operates a cost effective collection and delivery service available throughout the UK and USA mainland and through their various delivery partners they are able to offer high levels of service backed up by a dedicated customer service team, based within their head office. They have grown exponentially in recent years and have been featured across the press, receiving numerous business awards.
At Breakthru Media we recognise Parcel2go’s dedication to quality service and continued business growth and so, since taking on the account we have strived to achieve results befitting their vision. Since the beginning of our working relationship with Parcels2go we have increased email marketing revenues by over 100%, where ROI now stands at 52:1. All of this was achieved through expert research and strategic planning, leveraging the best technologies to meet their needs.
We have set up automated email campaigns which are triggered by auto responders that react to the individual user’s behaviour; sending follow up emails and updates to retain customer loyalty, encourage repeat purchases and increase reach. We draw up our tailored email marketing strategy at the beginning of each month, illustrating how we intend to manage the activity spanning the 2 million emails we now send on their behalf each month. To ensure we provide only the best results, we carry out extensive split testing to ensure that only the most engaging email content is put to use.
We have also recognised the potential of social media in Parcel2go’s operations and so we have developed their Twitter account to allow for interactive customer service to over 4,200 followers. At the same time, we have developed their Facebook presence into an interactive platform for parcel tracking, delivery quoting and discussion, making it easier for their customers to get the information they need.
By increasing activity across a number of channels and engaging users at a variety of levels we have helped to support Parcel2go’s ambitious growth plans whilst maintaining their dedication to quality service and support.
“Breakthru Media’s dedication to our corporate goals has been nothing short of brilliant, I’m confident that our continued business relationship will help us to sustain our plans for continued growth, well into the future” Steven Kramer, Commercial Director.
Case Study: Pinnacle KBB
Pinnacle KBB is an expert supplier of beautiful designer kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. They have been operating in Lancashire for years covering both Chorley and Preston. Pinnacle works with some of the most prestigious brands such as Bauformat, Omega and Twyford to deliver stylish, space saving interiors for every taste and budget.
Their attention to detail and their continued provision of quality service has earned them a reputation as a trusted supplier as can be seen on their testimonials page. To reflect this, we designed Pinnacle’s new website to emanate a modern, sleek and professional feel to give their site users a feel for their brand and the way that they work.
To support their growth and to encourage greater in-store footfall, we developed SEO and PPC campaigns to increase their online visibility, to drive conversions and enquiries, resulting in increased in-store consultations. These campaigns were focussed upon engaging consumers in the local area to encourage them to visit a local showroom and this was achieved through geographic targeting, using location based keywords and Google’s PPC segmentation and targeting tools.
To segment Pinnacle’s audiences further, we chose to run separate campaigns, one targeting typical devices such as PCs and laptops, the other targeting mobile and tablet devices. With almost 10% of all search traffic now coming from mobile devices, we decided it was worth attracting these users too; particularly as smart phone and tablet device users are generally thought to have higher disposable incomes.
All of this activity, combined with free in-store consults has pushed much greater levels of traffic to Pinnacle’s website along with increased enquiries and conversions. Having tracked the analytics, we now know that a user that visits the website prior to making an in-store visit is in fact twice as likely to make a purchase in-store.
We continue to support Pinnacle’s online growth with SEO and PPC activity, demonstrating to web users across Lancashire and the Northwest that Pinnacle are experts in the field who provide first class service with brilliant interiors to match.
“Rather than trying to jump in and impress us with your own knowledge you listened carefully to our ideas without interruption. You were kind enough to discuss the project in terms we could understand and gave us some really interesting and well thought out proposals. Since the website went live you have offered us, again without the hard sell, a number of options for SEO and PPC… and have since began to focus more of our marketing budget towards our website. Enquiries to our business (and more importantly sales) are on the increase and we feel we are now in a very positive position!” Stuart Heyes, Managing Director.
Case Study: TheSnugg
TheSnugg is a retailer of quality iPad and tablet cases as well as a range of gadgets and gizmos. Founded in 2010, TheSnugg has expanded internationally to cover the USA, Japan, Germany, France, Spain and the rest of Europe with sales through its own website and an Amazon store. From the very beginning, their focus was on selling quality products with the motto: “we don’t do cheap, we do quality”. Their continued dedication to providing quality service and premium products, along with our support and expertise has seen their flagship iPad 2 cases become Amazon best-sellers in over 5 territories.
With the recent explosion in tablet and iPad sales, we understand how critical it is to grow with the trend to avoid being left behind. We began working with TheSnugg to generate additional traffic volumes to their site and Amazon store with strategic PPC activity. Since then we have moved to manage all of their marketing activity, resulting in a 400% increase in growth, thus fuelling their overseas expansion. That way, when new Apple and tablet devices reach the market, they have an international customer base from which to launch new and exciting products.
Since the beginning of our business relationship we have designed and developed TheSnugg’s online storefront into a user friendly and intuitive shopping platform that integrates seamlessly with their back-end administration activities. We later increased their visibility with improved SEO and keyword targeting, whilst drawing in new custom with PPC campaigns; all of which has led to incomes of over £300,000 per month.
Having established a sound online presence that attracts fresh custom every day, we have now turned to email marketing and social media, where we are developing an email marketing campaign to encourage repeat purchases, triggered by individual user behaviour. Further to that, we are developing TheSnugg’s Facebook presence into an interactive content hub to drive social sharing and customer interaction.
“With the explosion in tablet device sales, we knew it was important to grow with the market and Breakthru Media understood that. With their support and innovative approach we’ve realised our ambitions of international expansion and we hope to expand further with their expert guidance” Jamie Simpson, Director.
